![]() Not the best way to start my first blog but this is something I've been wanting to share. I think I have insomnia. According to Wikipedia (who else?), Insomnia is "a sleep disorder in which there is an inability to fall asleep or to stay asleep as long as desired. While the term is sometimes used to describe a disorder demonstrated by polysomnographic evidence of disturbed sleep, insomnia is often practically defined as a positive response to either of two questions: "Do you experience difficulty sleeping?" or "Do you have difficulty falling or staying asleep?" The half the reason for my inability to feel tired at the end of the day, or tired enough to want to go to sleep, is that my mind is kept constantly engaged with the exciting projects I am working on. The other half is due to the stress and pressure that comes along with these work. So this is causing me to run my days with just 5 hours or less of sleep on high stress high pressure projects. Sunday nights are worst. I like to start my week off with a good headstart so I tend to overthink and do alot more on Sunday nights. But still I do not get Monday Blues even if sometimes I just get 4 hours of sleep. I'm not complaining. I'm loving what I do. I'm psyched by the work I'm occupied with and enthusiastic about the future and that's the adrenaline in my head that keeps me awake. As this splendid video below correctly starts off, we're already spending so much time on sleeping. What if I could use some of them to work on more creative ideas and proposals to help clients meet their objects? #NOREGRETS indeed.
